Job OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class E Driver / Manufacturing Associate to join our team in Montgomery City, MO. This position combines local driving responsibilities with hands-on work in our manufacturing facility, including forklift operation, material handling, and production support.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class E license, experience operating trucks, trailers, and forklifts, and a willingness to assist with various manufacturing and warehouse operations when driving assignments are not scheduled.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate Truck for local deliveries and pickups.
- Transport materials and products between company locations, jobsites, and customers as needed.
- Properly load, unload, and secure materials for safe transportation.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, and general production activities when not driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and inspection records.
- Follow applicable transportation regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with production and shipping teams to meet operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Class E driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Experience operating trucks and trailers preferred.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or similar experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to assist with various job duties as needed.
