PAY BREAKDOWN

- Mileage: $0.395-$0.450 per mile

- Live load or unload: $77 per stop

- Drop and hook: $56 per stop

- Driver load or unload: $45 per stop

- Refused delivery: $56

- Truck order not used: $30

- Empty move or crosstown: $25 per load

- Hazmat load: $40 per load

- Refrigerated load: $40 per load

- Driver assist: $25 per load

- Detention: $25-$35/hour

- Rail delay, waiting on truck, mechanical breakdown, yard checks, safety training: $25/hour

- Mandatory meetings: $30/hour

- NYC congestion pay: $75

- George Washington Bridge pay: $60

- Holiday pay: $240

- Training: $200/day (minimum 5 days)

Local intermodal, moving loaded rail containers between the ramp and customers within 250 miles of Jersey City. Service area includes Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut. You may not decline these areas or refuse dispatches you can legally and safely service. Majority no-touch freight. Daily home time. Slip seat, no assigned truck. Truck stays at the yard during time off. No riders.

Thanksgiving and New Year's may work. Christmas is off.

REQUIREMENTS

- 21+ with valid Class A CDL

- 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience

- Willing to drive throughout the full service area, including NYC boroughs and Long Island

- Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of being scheduled

- No DUI in the last 5 years

- Pass hair and urine drug testing
