Job Summary:

The Local Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for transporting company equipment and inventory, operating trucks and related equipment, and ensuring proper loading, unloading, and securement of materials.

We provide on-the-job training with a variety of equipment and materials, along with job-specific instruction. Responsibilities:

• Must abide by all the safety policies as well as state/local traffic laws
• Driver will work with other drivers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations, material, equipment and implements daily
• Must complete daily pre/post trip Inspections of every vehicle required to operate
• Must notify Company mechanics of major equipment repairs
• Maintaining organized, clean, and safe vehicles and environment
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
• Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules

 Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL is required 
• Must be at least 21+ years old
• Must have no serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years
• Must have no DWI / DUI in last 10 years
• Must be able to drive and operate 10-Speed Manual Truck
• Must be physically capable of performing all duties related to the position, physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, stooping, sitting, climbing low to high heights, jogging, and walking, all multiple times per day
• Some knowledge of equipment such as: skid steers, excavators, and bull dozers (will train)
