We're hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a semi-local dedicated driving position based near Joliet and Elwood, Illinois.

This opportunity offers average weekly earnings of $1,653–$2,115, frequent home time, weekends off, and no-touch freight.

Drivers transport general merchandise from a distribution facility to retail locations throughout the Midwest, including Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan.

This position is ideal for experienced CDL-A drivers looking for daytime driving, assigned automatic trucks, and a consistent freight operation.

Pay & Compensation

  • Average Weekly Earnings: $1,653–$2,115
  • Annualized Earnings: Approximately $86,000
  • Mileage Pay: $0.61–$0.64 per mile
  • Stop Pay: $6 per stop
  • Additional Stop Pay: $10–$20 per qualifying stop
  • Drop-and-Hook Pay: $12 per qualifying event
  • Weekly Attendance Bonus: $100, subject to eligibility
  • Breakdown Pay: $20 per hour
  • New-Hire Training Pay: $200 per day
  • Safety Training Pay: $20 per hour
  • Holiday Pay: $200 per eligible holiday
  • Additional compensation for qualifying support assignments

Actual earnings vary based on mileage, assigned freight, stops, activity-based compensation, and eligibility for bonuses. Annualized earnings are estimates rather than guaranteed pay.

Job Responsibilities

  • Transport general merchandise from a distribution center to retail locations.
  • Make multi-stop deliveries throughout the Midwest.
  • Operate routes serving Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan.
  • Complete deliveries in areas including Chicagoland, Minneapolis, Green Bay, Des Moines, and St. Louis.
  • Perform drop-and-hook trailer exchanges.
